  1. Waleed Arafa

Excellent introduction to the sciences of Qur’anic exegesis, originally written in Arabic by Usama Al-Sayyid Al-Azhari as an introduction to “Al-Nibras” written by Al-Azhari’s mentor; the former Grand Mufti of Egypt Sh. Ali Gomaa, and now translated into English and introduced by a formidable scholar in his own right; Dr. Mostafa al-Badawi, an author and translator of many important Islamic esoteric texts especially texts from and about Hadramawt “The Blessed Valley” and it’s many saintly figures.
This book is a meeting point of three excellent scholars who are unearthing the real jewels of Islam and Islamic thought in a time marked by ignorance, fanaticism and violence. A must read for anyone who is interested in approaching Islam’s most important divinely revealed holy text; the noble Qur’an.
